Special Needs, Extra Special Love

Some of our adoptable cats have special medical considerations, such as FIV or liver disease, that simply mean they may need a little extra care and monitoring. These conditions do not define who they are or limit their ability to be affectionate, playful, and deeply loving companions. Many cats with FIV live long, happy lives, and liver conditions are often very manageable with proper veterinary care, diet, and routine checkups.

While special needs cats may come with additional veterinary visits or medication costs, staying proactive and informed goes a long way in keeping them healthy and comfortable.

With consistency, love, and a committed adopter, these cats thrive—and often form especially strong bonds with the people who give them a chance.
